Good composition and well done for keeping its surrounding from disturbing the picture.
some people would recomend that neat image be employed to get rid of the noise in the background i presume from the low light levels in the cage / pen.

he does indeed seem rather pensive. lovely capture, i think i would have a go at neatimage, the birds head in particular seems rather noisy.
