Photographer's Note
Just arrived at Lisboa after few days in Porto and just walking in the street at 7 am.
I found this good place with very good perspective I thought.... Then I stayed there 1 hour trying to do good pics every 10 - 15 min as it is the frequency of tramway passing in front of me at this time.
According to me it is a good perspective photograph but it is missing 2 things for picture to be more attractive:
1/ no people at the window ! (maybe a little bit too early)
2/ This pic is taken from the back... then missing the driver!!

Yes is realy a good perspective of old Lisbon.Congratulations.It was a nice shot!
By the way: that tramway (28) is the most emblematic tramway of Lisbon. It had start working at 1914 and actualy he pass by the great places on old Lisbon, since Prazeres to Graça and Martim Moniz.
It's more than a simple means of transportation. 28 tramway is realy an original way to visit old Lisbon and learn some history.

I must disagree with you ... I think this picture is amazing just as it is. I like that there are no people, and the back of the Tram vs. the front is fine as well. It almost feels like this place has been abandoned. What kind of lens did you use? Did you take the picture in black and white or did you photoshop it later? Was the train moving or standing still when you took the picture?
I can't believe you sat there for an hour taking this picture! You are much more patient than I am. But it was definitely worth it! Great job Kris ...
