Lençois Maranhenses National Park is located in the state of Maranhao and is considered to be one of Brazil's top natural attractions. It is a sea of sand dunes that covers 70 km of coastline and advances 50 km inland. This formation provides impressive views comprised of countless lakes with blue and green water, which, during the rainy season, contrast with the white sand of the dunes, which can reach 40m in height. It rains a lot for several months and each depression between dunes becomes a lake of crystal clear water.

che bel posto...del Maranhao ho già sentito parlare molto bene....e questa foto conferma tutto.
adoro lo scenario lunare ed il contrasto tra il candore delle dune e l'azzurro internso dell'acqua.
un luogo veramente magico...questo contrasto cromatico mi ricorda vagamente la De Hoop Reserve che ho visitato in Sud Africa

bentornato ! Uno dei paessaggi che devo vedere in realta´ prima di morire :) Lo conosco bene, ma purtroppo solo da Google Earth.
Questa e´una bellissima prospettiva con le curve guidando l´occhio in fondo. Le persone sono importanti e si vede la prole di TE, esercitando :)

in quanto a viaggi vedo che non scherzi neanche un po' e se questo e' l'antipasto del viaggio in Brasile allora non vedo l'ora di vedere le altre foto.
Molto bella questa, con il diaframma abbastanza aperto molto ben usato per evidenziare le due protagoniste della scena e rendere perfettamente l'idea grazie al titolo appropriatissimo. ottima la qualita' generale con un contrasto cromatico meraviglioso.

After seeing this fabulous photograph, Attila, I have put the Lençois Maranhenses National Park on my list of 'Places to Visit Before I Die'. The photo ops here must be out of this world! I like how you have composed this with the girls running towards the lake as if they are excited to see it. Maybe a touch over-exposed, but I guess the light is hard to manage here. Cheers . . .
