yes, it was much better now. whole attentions goes to boat and then to sea and island in background. good one

Bingo! You did a great job. Eliminating the distractions makes a huge difference. The boat seems so lonely sitting there. A great photo evokes emotion and if you look at this photo and don't feel somewhat sad for the old boat not being able to go out into the sea you might have no soul.

Hi Sophia,
I have not seen the original shot, but I like a lot this one... the lonely boat in this inmense place is fantastic, very evocative, nostalgic, a little bit sad, but this is good for me. The very strong contrast with the white light at the foregrund and the predominant gray is a very good idea! Congrats!
