Photographer's Note
Kata Tjuta (otherwise known as the Olgas) are set within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
The name has been aptly given to the Olgas as Kata Tjuta actually means 'many heads' in traditional Aboriginal language.
The Olgas are about 30km from Uluru.
This photo was taken at 18.15pm when the sunset creates the best colours on the rocks and the dusty road.

Hi Carl,
A great view of these famous rocks. I recall the day I visited the Olgas and walked through the gorges. The fact that they stand out alone out of the surrounding plain is really remarkable. You capture here a great combination of the famouse outback hues of rusted red dust and clear blue skies. I recall the road in to be paved, but seems you have taken the more scenic dirt road. Great effort.
Matt
