A picture from Aride Island nature reserve, the most northerly island in the Seychelles.
This picture was taken from the back of the boat shed on the island. A tourist boat can be seen in the distance and two members of staff having a conversation, possibly making arrangements for disembarking the tourists.

Hello James,
It is an interesting shot, creating a scenario upon which the viewer can speculate! The pov adds a sense of secrecy, as if we are eavesdropping on the characters, from the shadows.
You have composed this well and also controlled the light, from the shadows into the sunshine, well. My only suggestion for improvement would be more sharpness of the focal figures. The boat seems sharper than them, though I am sure you were not intending it to be the focal image.

Hi James,
What a delightful picture. So different from many views of seascapes, in that you have a frame, the view, and a little mystery, something for the viewer to contemplate. Not always possible I know, but a LH frame would have completed the shot, but I like it. A little crispness missing, but that may just be the possibly hurried nature of the shot.

Hi James, Very impressive composition, loved the way you included ceiling and boat under the shed in the scene. just one point to make, girl in yellow does not seem to me from the staff ;)

Hello James,
Very cool composition. You got everything here: the shed; boat; yacht; and people. I love the natural framing. Nice bright sunny atmosphere. Tough lighting but very well controlled. A good friend & former neighbor is from the Seychelles. Thought of visiting the family sometimes. Regards. Latiff.
