Photographer's Note

Anse Possession is a calm and beautiful bay on the north east coast of Praslin. On the easterly side of the bay local fishermen anchor their boats. This shot was taken as the sun began to dip towards the horizon casting warm light on the fishing floats and nets. Praslin was named after the Duc de Praslin, the French minister of marine in 1768 when the 'Stone of Possession' was erected at Anse Possession
