Photographer's Note
Tuareg camel rider in Air Mountains. Tuaregs usually ride barefoot and steer the animal with their feet. Pans and especially tea pots are usually carried everywhere they go. This man was heading to a village in search for some food - he was going to sell a few of his camels in exchange for grain./www.nygus.info

Fantastic sharpness and detail for a shot with so much DOF required. Really a great perspective, and very colorful. Regards, Ken.

Hello Swiatek,
A very original POV, I like it, it make the difference ! And the blue sky with the others colors make a nice composition.

Stéphanie.

Wonderful POV here! Great balance of light, contrast and color! Too bad he's covering his face at this moment. But it doesn't spoil the picture, because this big interesting foot right in front of it draws all the attention. Well seen,
Saule.

Hi Swiatek,
This is a fantastic point of view, drawing our main focus to the mans foot. Great sharpness and detail from the bottom right through to the sky.

Very unusual point of view. Extreme, if I may say! ;) Excellent choice of aperture, sharpness from... toe to head! But why, oh why, he has his hand before his face... I miss that look. It would be perfect, in my most modest opinion, if he was looking at you from high above... Oh well, maybe I ask too much. Maybe he did not want. Let me give you two points nevertheless for the quality and the originality of the picture.

Same like barefoot elephant steering too, only camel is a light pickup truck while the elephant is a 38 tons lorry.
I don't like much when tecnicals get over the image, obviously, this is not you but the extreme wide angle shot that made the pic with that strangely distorted foot. a bit like fisheye portraits, fun but boring in the end.. the problem with these lenses is that too often some foreground areas take too much place while more interesting backgrounds are set afar. This is the case here with too much of camel skin which unbalances the image... and as already said, not the most appropriate moment to shoot, because of the concealed head.

Hello, Swiatek--
Great POV, you really included a lot of contextual information (the pots and pans, for example), with the wide angle, and that gnarled foot poking into the camera is terrific. Thanks!

wow! I love it. great pov! It seems as though he only wanted his feet captured and not his face.
how did you get by here? did you speak the native tongue?
I'm so impressed with your photos!

This is a really good and very interesting image. I especially like your choice of lens which uniquely emphasized the entire point of this scene...the man's foot against the camel's hide.
Nice work!
