Photographer's Note

This was taken at the Limpopo River Mouth, in front of the Zongoene Lodge.

This is where the mighty Limpopo river runs into the Indian Ocean, and as you can see the river is very wide here (helped along by recent good rains there).

In this section next to the river mouth there was a lot of tree-stumps (I guess a few hundred or so). I do not know why all the trees were chopped down, but it almost looked like an alien landscape.
