Photographer's Note
As the blue hour approaches, Jmaa el Fna sheds its daytime persona, filled with orange juice stalls, water sellers and tourist entertainments, and takes on its alter ego, with story-tellers, magicians, traditional medicine sellers and dozens of food-stalls, mainly catering to locals.
Late afternoon also sees a swirl of people coming to and going home from work, criss-crossing the square near the souk. Note -- I took this before the authorities, with an increased focus on tourism, closed the square to traffic and moved the taxi stands and bus station.

I saw them in 1994 and the teeth pullers too!
By this beautiful picture that features an imminent sunset, you triggered many sweet reminiscences in my mind...and mostly the kind invitation of salespersons:"Come on in only for the pleasure of your eyes"

An interesting place, and good reporting photo. I think that there is too much empty pavement and sky. A tighter crop could hav ebeen better, I think.

Very nice light to present this famous place of Marrakech. Especially, I like the contrast between the foreground in the shadow which still lets us see details and the sunny front in background.

It's difficult to be original with a place that is photographed millions of times, but you have a great light here, Mary. Your title describes well what's shown in the image. You caught the shift change at the right moment, and with a beautiful sky to give you a hand. Nice job!
