Photographer's Note
Casablanca’s Hassan II Mosque is a spectacular mosque built partially over water on the Atlantic coast of North Africa. At 200m high, the minaret is the highest religious minaret in the world. The mosque is able to accommodate up to 25,000 worshippers inside and it boasts a mechanical roof which can retract to allow sunlight in when the weather is favourable. The floor inside is heated and the underground ablutions hall contains 41 fountains, each accommodating 6 – 8 people at a time, for the faithful to complete their ritual ablutions. It is open to non-Muslims and tours in various languages are provided most days of the week.
This is one of the (rather large) doors surrounding the mosque.

Very nice image.
I like the colours of this building.
Focusing on the walls is really good and there's a nice contrast between the enormous building and the ... small man!!

I love goldtones. I love textures. I love patterns. I love contrast. I love architecture. I love shapes. I love detail. (And did I mention goldtones?) Therefore I can't help but love this picture! Really well done. Thanks for posting it, Sally!

Hello Sally,
La présence de l'homme sur la droite permet de se rendre compte de la taille du monument ! Bon cadrage et jolies couleurs.
Amicalement,
Stéphanie.

Beautiful details, the POV is very interesting but I think it would be better if the light wasn't so strong
