Photographer's Note
A daily scene on Niger river. Traditional fishing is still the way to fish for the most part of the population. In this region, Mopti is the is main city where the people can buy or sell the fishing,...in the WS you can see what it seems a fish in the marchet,...then we can understand that it's not easy to have the daily food and to be healthy.
In the other WS you can see the "perfect" tourist, drinking a tea at 5 p.m. ;-)

Encore une belle scéne Africaine où les même mouvements se répétent aprés des siécles. L'horizon est, pour moi, un peu trop au centre, un peu moins d'eau peu être.

Excellent timing, Javier. A beautiful shape of the flying net, and wonderfl color of the muddy river. It worth some work on the contrast. I think that a higher level might work.

Veo que no solo son los montes de vez en cuando te pierdes por otros sitios. Impresionante las tecnicas que utilizan para pescar. Foto bastante chula aunque comparto la apreciacion de J-C para el horizonte.

Bones company,
imatge captada al "vol" en el moment precís en que la xarxa va a fer la seva feina, molt bons reflexes i millor treball.
La diferència de colors entre el Níger i el cel ennuvolat imprimeix una personalitat especial a la fotografia que fa que parli per ella sola.

You caught this just right with the net in mid air. I also like the colours of the water and sky. They compliment each other and the placement of the horizon near the middle works well here perhaps because of the shape of the boat.

Hola Javier, quizás de todas las imágenes de la serie del Río Níger, para mí esta es la que más sentido tiene..... el lanzamiento de la red le da un dinamismo que las otras nos tienen.
Bien por las fotos de WS, nos da la oportunidad de ver lo que hay detrás de la cámara.
