Photographer's Note
August coinsides with mating period for elephants, so I had a chance witnessing this intimate moment at sunset.
The quality of the photo isn't at it's top, I did not carry tripod, which could have ameliorated it, but I decided to post it anyway. I played with shadows and highlight (may be a bit exagerated), so I obtained kind of "painting-like" effect.

What a great capture.
You got the special morning sex capture, and the beautiful sunrise colors and sun breaking through the clouds.
I think that the brightning you did helped save a lot of details, but also added a lot of noise and the photo doesn't seem to be in a high enough quality.

well, mating is also a part of life - it's how we and the other species come to life :) ... i love your kenyan scenes, and this is no exception - i don't mind any technicalities here, i enjoy seing kenya - and to me that is enough.

I can't help but laugh at this. You have a great capture with the light and scenery but the elephants mating is just hilarious. I guess I'm just too immature but I really do love it.
