Although Gondar is predominantly Christian there is a Mosque which serves a significant Muslim population. We met this member in his stall, selling fabric, in the market. Although reluctant initially to have his photo taken he was able to be talked around...

Hello Steve,
A very nice portrait. He may have been reluctant, but now he looks quite happy to be posing, although still slightly nervous. He has a kind of uncertain smile. Sharpness and exposure are superb and it's very neatly cropped.

You must have a silky tongue, to persuade this quite nervous man to agree to being photographed!
He has provided you with a wide smile which reveals his well cared-for teeth, perfectly matching his wide eyes.
It's a very good portrait photograph, sharp and well cropped. I feel we are privileged to see some of his character, as well as his features.

I love your portraits! You captured this man's animated features so well. Love the crop too (thanks for your comment about my last Afghan boy photo, I was thinking of cropping it into a panorama actually).
