Photographer's Note

When it is time for a young man of the Hamer tribe to perform the bull-jumping ceremony he needs to have a few assistants to herd the cattle and cajole them into a straight line. One of them also catches the jumper as he jumps down from the last bull (actually cows) in the row. That was the job of this serious looking fellow. A big responsibility.
