Some arches taken mid afternoon, when it is too hot for there to be many people about. This was a little row of shops.
I have cropped, sharpened and manually recoloured (darkened), with Paint Shop Pro 8.

THis postprocessing is excellent and very effective. High contrast+low brightness=dramatic view. A very good perspective with beautiful shapes.

Great shot, Michael. The patterns and lighting are excellent. Good post-processing work. I might have cropped the photo just above the main arch. Well seen.
