Photographer's Note
Although I was in Egypt with the group, I used any opportunity to visit interesting places alone. One nice short excursion was from Luxor to Medinet Habu. After visiting the temple I just walked through the village, observing such nice scenes. Two more pictures in Workshops.
I hope that you will like also these less popular views of Egypt.

Hello Malgo,
For me walking in these areas is as much interesting as visiting the temples.
Your main picture indeed looks idyllic.
In the WS we see that there's a big difference between the new and the old buildings. The donkey carts remain the same :)
Best regards, Paul

HI Malgo
It is good to see Egyptian photos away from the monuments and ruins. This is a good series of daily life and ordinary village buildings.
cheers

Hi Malgo,
Simple and nice view of a rural scene, nice perspective with the view of road, pleasant sunny day and green tone with vegetation, good detail with this man and the donkey, tfs.

Hello Malgo,
This is not what I expected from Egypt but it is refreshingly normal. Away from the famous tourist sites, this is how the 'real' people of Egypt live. Donkey carts would seem a very sustainable and eco-friendly way to travel.
I love the greenery on either side of the dirt road.
Nice details of the walls of the houses in your w/s.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Malgo,
No matter how interesting the temples may be, it's sometimes a relief to return to normal life of present times. And as for the photos I find it more fun to watch scenes like this, and those in the WS, than "dead statues" and ruins. This is a very pleasant view with beautiful colours.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo
A good daily life scene and to be honest I spent most of my time in Luxor exploring the old ruins with little thought to any daily life scenes like this. Tfs!

Hi Malgo,
The length of the road is giving dynamism to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the donkeys and of the carriage. The light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo
Great daily life scene full of wonderful 'nothing special' things. It always amazes me how in many poor(er) countries would look the same if it wasn't for the people and old and/or religious architecture.
This scene, without the man, could just as well have been shot in Cambodia, for instance. The road, the walls, the iron gate...they are the same all over the "third" world. (Sorry for that term, can't think of a better one that covers exactly the same geograhical ground.)

o último WS era o melhor, por alguma razão o seu post principal deixou muito solo exposto e cortou o topo das palmeiras, uma pena.
bem interessante a amostra de arquitetura local(não antiga), algo pouco visto em fotos do país.
um abraço

Hi Malgo.
Wonderful image that would make us think of a tropical place and not in Egypt. Beautiful outlook with the greenery of the wooded area and the elegance of the palm trees, the donkey cart is a fantastic touch.
Great also the photos of the WS.
In this wonderful image, the sharpness, exposure, colors and POV are fantastic.
Photo very well done. I like it
Enjoy a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Malgo,
How much greenery environment along the Nile river banks, as said, this river is a life-line to Egypt.
Wonderful moment collected with the two donkeys pulling a humble cart.
My best regards,
Ike

Hello Malgo,
Wondering around towns and villages might be quite rewarding. I prefer such pictures of ordinary scenes to those of tourist attractions.

In my opinion, the image that you give us the daily life of the people of the country we were not in is commendable. Well seen. Thanks for sharing
