Photographer's Note
From Philae Temple.
taken with sigma 10-20 mm
PS: Sorry for the title, but it's just a the cure song criticising U.S. operiations on Arab countries. i thought everybody knows it :)[those Arab people are living a month just with 4000$ gdp, most of this money is in the pockets of rich minority.they say that a police officer's monthly wage is 100$; so this is the connection, west killing east.]

A really good photo. However the title needs explanation, as it distracts attention away from the photo itself.
(Just seen your edited note, but still don't see the link between the image and the song.)

wow, what a fantastic use of wide angle, this is very impressive shot - great light and compo, it has the mistery in it.

the distorted perspective gives the image a fantastic scaring claustrophobic feeling.
excellent!
as for the title, i would look for another one. life is already too violent.

Love the shot, the size of the pillars compared to the man is quite impressive. Quite a perfect shot and nothing at all I can fault with it (apart from the title perhaps)

name, note and colors are very appropriate and they support each other strongly. the photographs are bringing far away people, lives and events in front of our eyes. so you made me think about that part of the world today. thanks. ayrıca adamın oturuş şekli ve duvara yaslanışı da en az sütunlar kadar kültürü yansıtıyor. ellerinize sağlık.

i won't comment on the message i think you're trying to convey with the title. not because i'm being politically correct or because i'm afraid to speak my mind but because this site imo should be the last forum to discuss this. from a strictly professional standpoint i think the title is completely irrelevant to the picture and a major mistake.
even if the song was widely known (which i don't think it is) the lyrics still don't justify the photo. again this is just my opinion, so to let everyone make up their own mind, i'll paste it below:
"Standing on the beach
With a gun in my hand
Staring at the sky
Staring at the sand
Staring down the barrel
At the arab on the ground
See his open mouth
But I hear no sound
I'm alive
I'm dead
I'm a stranger
Killing an arab
I can turn
And walk away
Or I can fire the gun
Staring at the sky
Staring at the sun
Whichever I choose
It amounts to the same
Absolutely nothing
I'm alive
I'm dead
I'm a stranger
Killing an arab
I feel the silver jump
Smooth in my hand
Staring at the sea
Staring at the sand
Staring at myself
Reflected in the eyes
Of the dead man on the beach
The dead man on the beach
I'm alive
I'm dead
I'm the stranger
Killing an arab"
as for the photo, i like it a lot, a very good pov, with great lighting from above. nice details on the columns, good colours, i like the relaxed guy included, giving us a sense of scale. too bad he looks oversharpened and overexposed, perhaps some selective pp may help.
