Photographer's Note

The Edfu Temple was built in 237 B.C.(Ptolemaic edge) and is dedicated to Horus.
It is one of the Latest built temple (Ptoleme was in fact a Greek), but the style is copied from ancient ones.
this temple is not a ruin, each wall stands up.
The entrance is guarded by a giant falcon.

If you look well, you'll see black "carbon dirt" on the ceiling. This was cause by Chretian refugees (hunted by Romans)who made fire when they were hidden when temple was semi-burried in the sand.
