Hello Jean,
A splendid landscape picture in which the blue reservoir immediately demands attention.
Also the church and its tower catch my eye.
Nice variety of meadows and forests.
I think I can find 'sheep' and 'tower' in the name of the village. But perhaps the name refers to something completely different.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Paul, the Sheepstor, comes from the sheep and the tor.
A tor is a dramatic outcrop of granite, usually standing on top of a hill. Each tor has its own unique and distinct formation. The small village/hamlet is situated beneath such a tor. Thanks as always for your continued support. Kind regards, Jean. |

Thank you Jean,
Now that I read your answer I seem to remember somewhere that you once explained the meaning of 'tor' but I had forgotten ... Maybe I was distracted by the beautiful tower of the church ... Best regards, Paul |
