Hello. Uris,

You have shown us another most interesting place in Turkey. It seems to have had early usage by Greeks. I wonder if itís distinct shape, on the grassland, made it seem suitable as a suitable building.
Your details are sharp, clearly revealing the sculptured doorways and the pitted nature of the rocky surface.

I have just been watching an amazing programme about Gobekli Tepe, in Turkey. Have you ever visited it?

Yes I have. Although I didn't get very good photos. There are also replicas in the Ankara Museum of Anatolian Civilisations which I got slightly better shots of. Another place I saw originals from was in Konya Archeological Museum from the neolithic settlement of «atalhŲyŁk :

So many new discoveries in the 80's, 90's and even later that I had never heard of before when I studied ancient history back in high school.
