Thoughtfully composed and beautifully captured. For this sort of shot what we need are subtle shades and shadow to create the mood & depth. Considering this was taken using your the Hp, it's acceptably good record shot only and there's nothing you can do with the exposure setting. if you are serious about the art of photography then my suggestion is to have a reasonably good SLR camera for long term use and i guarantee you wont regret. This will allow you to have a better lighting control in manual mode to create the necessary mood you're aiming for and you'll see the difference - I have few indoor shots taken in Amer Fort yet to upload just to illustrate this - Hope this is acceptable to you, Well done.
