Very nice capture of part of life in Alaska. A 14 foot tide? That's amazing! Great pov and dof with nice details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.
A friend from Palmer just visited me again, and again asked me to visit Alaska. Maybe someday, I do like the pictures you have posted.

I appreciate you stopping by to enjoy and comment on this photo. I'm also glad that you recognized that this is ocean, not a lake. I can't tell how many people ignor the information provided and persist in thinking this calm water is a lake.
Definitely, do plan a trip to Alaska! Consider the Alaska Marine Highway through SE Alaska, unless you are just wanting to do the Interior. Palmer and Denali are worth a trip, and be sure to get to Homer if you come. Thanks again, Judy
