50mm is a nice lense. Not an easy one at all. Concerning the DOF you can let the camera play what you obviously did here. Since the girl in the foreground looks like the others in the background, the fading out sharpness becomes a special charme. atb M.

thanks! yes, the 50mm and the 85mm were a great rescue during those first days in Japan, the luminosity and brightness of the lens compensating for the lack of good daylight. I am actually surprised I didn't shoot at 5.6, which is what my 50mm is usually set to - I tend to forget it and then sometimes miss great bokeh opportunities because I don't remember to check the aperture... ![]() have a good weekend, c. |
