Great Isabelle 2009-07-10 10:56

it´s a pity you did not write about the trip - you did not the details. on the other hand, it´s so nice to imagine the experience you might have had in this corner of the globe...

i look at them and I want to know more. colorful, worn out door and walls (it seems there is not a roof!) and they´re smiling and they´re so dramatic!

Default To Isabelle: Hi there!

sorry, I was going more for the artistic side and wanted imagination to go free, but I will tell you that this was taken on Isla Taquile, Lago Titicaca, during a 3 hours stroll there. Got to a small alley intersection, and the opportunity arose for a series of quick shots. Used fast shutter mode only, to capture the deep tones and get that dark quality, quite pleased with the result, and I am glad you liked it. Of course, got lucky here that the chracters lined up so well, but OTOH I kind of shot about 10-12 quick ones and here;s the best one of all. Peru is sublime!
