Hej Lasse,
This is a truly beautiful landscape! Typical Nordic, it could very well be Sweden. Maybe that´s why we have "The Finnish Forest" here in Sweden (please see here and here).
Your photo is well composed and the colours are really excellent!

Thanks for your comments and also for the links to the lovely Finnish forest photos of yours. Yes, the geological history and climate of Sweden and Finland are similar and there are many landscape features alike. We both have thousands of lakes, which often look similar and our archipelago along the coasts is also similar, and of course we both have vast forests too. One thing, which came to my mind from your Finnish forest notes, is the naming of small lakes. In Finland a small lake can be called either "lampi" (tjärn) or a "järvi" (träsk) officially in the maps, regardless of the pond/lake size. Do you also have a similar mixed naming practice in Sweden?
