Great CaptainJack 2008-03-15 10:25

Hello Lauryn, long time no see! :) I often enjoy visiting Buddhist temples in Asia as well, the combination of hands, burning incense and large cauldrons are a great scene, you've captured one very well here. I tried at a Buddhist temple in Korea earlier this year, but didn't have the courage to get this close.

Default To CaptainJack: The courage to get close

Yes, long time no see!
I was lucky then, 'cause that woman didn't seem to care about my camera. Or she also didn't have the courage to yell at me. Either way, there definitely are some chance to get close to people and take photos of them if you are patient enough to stay in the same position and wait for the chance to come. I know not all the people get angry or yell at you for photographying them. If somebody gets angry at you, you just applogise..."I'm sorry".. hoping "appology" will ease their temper.

Next time you go to a temple, try it out~!
