Hi Peter,
Great to see Australian wildlife, they let you close! Also vegetation looks rich. Would look even better with sunshine, but you can't always get what you want.

Default To ktanska: Wildlife

Hi Kari,
last year travelled round Oz in small van,(30,000kms) taking about 12,000 photos. Most wildlife photos taken from easily accessable places on side of road with sony 717, usually on maximum optical telephoto, pov in this photo about 50 meters.This photo was taken in a national park so the animals are used to people. I agree about the light, but it was the end of winter. I am so lucky to have been at that place at that time, a bit of magic. In the next week I will post a picture of a Dugong and calf taken at Monkey Mia, the only Dugong I have seen!
