Great Didi 2006-05-02 6:04

Hello Kev
Very nice composition in the twilights; I note a good control of the exposure; but I think that it was possible to take a closer position near the water.

Default To Didi: Hi Didi

There were a couple of reasons why I didn't - the beach there is very muddy - like deep mud - and in the dark difficult to negotiate - also many fishing nets and boats but no good viewpoints on which to rest my camera - this was quite a long exposure and i needed to brace it against something so I took a higher position further away. Both yours and Izzet's comments are taken on board though - I do have this tendency to like larger shadow areas at the bottom of images - I don't know where this comes from!!!? ..but when I remove them i often like the image as much if not more - but I still doi it!! As I say - here there was not so much choice.

Thanks for visiting.

best wishes Kev
