Great rdans59 2004-06-24 17:12

Impressive image. It is always moving to realize how many people died pursuing their ideals of justice, duty and freedom, for which they deserve our respect.

Wonderful reconstruction work in PS7. However, I'd crop the image on the left side, just at the left of the tree, to add more balance to the rows of tombstones and to avoid the slightly distracting paved piece of road and the 2 stones on the bottom-left.

Thanks for sharing.

Default To rdans59: Cropping and Composition

Thank you very much for the comments. I had gone through a similar series of thoughts when I was working on the photo. To help illustrate why I ended up with this as my final composition, I have posted a workshop and a description of my motivations. I might be wrong, wont hurt my feeling at all(too much practice at it) but I would like feedback on its merits. ;)
