Great macjake 2013-06-22 6:00

Hi Jason
where do i start with this one!
so you like girly food's eh?
(have you tried the Serendipity in Vegas? lol) its pretty good! but lets keep that as our secret!

as for this photo, i think it could be easily missed or easily un-appreciated by most people.
if you take the time to carefully see whats here, its very rich, elegant, sophisticated, a real masterpiece.

the handcrafed door is simply amazing, you can't buy that at Walmart!
and even the 2 door knockers are fabulous.
and there's even a hint of art deco styling on the building front too.
it would be so cool to take a tour inside.
excellent post, who could not love NYC!

and yes, i DID post a jogger photo from Van a day ago or so, but i took it down....I wasn't at all happy with was way too dark. Maybe i could brighten it up and re-post it, we'll see.

as for car shots, the only problem with going to a car show is that the cars are always so close together. and so many people walk into your shot.
thats why you see so many of my shots with the low-front-grill-pov....its tactful and on avoid the cars and crowds.

thanks again!
keep the good work coming

Smile To jhm: Thank YOU

Dear John

Two key points, thank you for the comments on the fountain in Barcelona and second, thank you for reviewing my gallery. I don't always get many comments on my submissions - few people review my work, you are an outstanding member here and I am indeed honored that you have done both.

Any help with my photos, in-depth or slight helps me favor or improve my style and does encourage me to continue taking them. I did a lot of work and travels through out China and tried my best to capture daily life there before modern community life replaces the traditions of the past. Most of my work has been in this pursuit. I would often take photos accompanied by Chinese friends who would comment as to why I took them, not seeming to like their own old ways. Many daily life rituals, community activities will disappear soon. I hope my photos tell a story about them.

Thanks - David Reed Thomas (drt100)
