Great holmertz 2015-02-20 9:56

Hello Russ,
This is a fine photo, where the lone surfer of course plays the leading role, but he's got fine support from the diagonals of waves at various stages and of various colors. It is nicely cropped as it is, but since you mention the matter I always find it interesting to see what happens if I crop a photo in an unexpected way. Occasionally I've had very nice surprises. So just for fun I made a workshop. That doesn't mean that I disapprove of your version. I hope you won't mind.
Best regards,
Gert

Smile To holmertz: VERY interesting cropping!

Hello Gert!
Thank you for your interest in this image, and thank you for illustrating an attractive alternative cropping! I think it is successful, and I will study it for the lessons you have provided!

Many thanks,

Russ Ham
