Hello Jean,
It's an interesting building, but I wonder about the functionality of that blue area. Does it serve any purpose or did the architect just enjoy the idea? It was a great gift to photographers anyway.

Hi Gert,
Like write Paul, I think it's to give light ... and also for the facade for aesthetic style, like a blue wave, the city of Royan is a beach resort.
