Great willperrett 2014-08-25 11:50

Hello Philippe

I was there around four years ago, and took some similar photographs, but none as good as yours. The weather wasn't kind, and the sky was a neutral grey. I like your low angle and wide lens: together they give a great effect. And you were blessed with really interesting cloud formations. I'm glad to see that you've allowed the natural drama its due, without finding it necessary to beef up the contrast and saturation artificially.

Default To willperrett: Thx

Thanks for dropping by Will. I'm glad you think it's not overdone cause it's always hard to keep the balance. Sometimes you forget and get carried away...

Default Getting carried away

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I always try to maintain a balance between "reality" and Photoshop, and hope that any PP I do is pretty much invisible. But I'm sure I often fail!
