Great Royaldevon 2022-08-06 6:33

Hello Paul,

These gardens are very beautiful with their vast swathes of pink flowers. Two photographs show the lion sculpture but (for me) this is the better of the two as a main post because the sculpture is so nicely placed and because we have the fun of seeing the gardener fighting with the long snake-like hosepipe.
I don't know what it is like for you in Belgium but some places in England have imposed hosepipe bans due to the lack of rain and the lowering of the levels in the reservoirs. Where I live, the rain has been much more frequent, though we have had a few very dry spells.

Have a lovely w/e,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: The drought

Thank you Beverley,

So far there is no spray ban or ban on washing cars in Belgium.
But since the next week will be extra dry again without any rainfall, it is not impossible that such a ban will come after all.

However, there are already some rivers here where it has become difficult to navigate.

Kind regards,
Paul
