Hello Didi,
Money is in short supply, particularly for councils, and sadly beautiful and socially important buildings are being seriously neglected!
We have a saying 'A stitch in time saves nine', meaning a little spent now would save lots needing to be spent in the future.
This is a very beautiful building, both in style and materials; but, it does occur to me, why in the late 19th - early 20th century, would anyone need to build a house as large as this, knowing how much its upkeep would demand!
You have done a fine job capturing so much in one shot, did you stitch more than one shot?
