Hello Paul,
"Quicksand" is most adequate term to describ a dune. Sahara-like dunes in Belgium seems as whole different from what I had in mind when thinking about Benelux countries, and Europe ar all.
Wonderful main photo, neat wind-marks and a glimpse of the sea in deep blue.

when I will post images of são luis city you will see what shabby will mean. hahaha. so many marvelous samples of architecture being devoured by the time.
pirenópolis has its architecture well restored, it was a surprise for me.
