Hello Gert,
This is an interesting view. If you didn't mention this was the roof, I would have thought these people were walking on some sort of bridge. The statues are very large, and the man taking his own photo adds a nice, extra detail to the scene. To my eyes, I see a tilt towards the right, and the partially headless statue on the far right was distracting me a bit, so I made a WS just for fun. :-)

Thank you for your useful critique and for the WS. I hadn't really noticed the tilt (shame on me), but I considered cropping the photo the way you did. I decided not to do it because I thought the photographer would come too close to the edge, looking into nothingness. I wanted the last statue to keep him safely inside the picture. I was less bothered by cutting off a statue's head than a person's. But surely your version is better than mine. I wish you a nice weekend. Gert |
