Hello Jorge,
You also used the time machine. Interesting custom with the carpets on the street. In Guatemala, they make marvellous carpets from the flowers. Also in one Polish village there is such tradition. Nice to see these beetles. I recognize the square from you other pictures. Has this tradition survived to present time? Have you worked already in the shop forty years ago?
I have seen the news about the catastrophe in the canyon in our TV. What a tragedy!

I was born at side of the shop, I am working there since I was 10 y. old. our tradition of carpets in Corpus Christi is alive yet. If you want to see the carpets in a great way you can visit Ouro Preto city (Minas gerais state) or Serra (Espírito santo state). yes, it was an amazing tragedy. while traveling in central-north Brasil I was ever thinking in the risks and I used small boats like those ones and I was near big high rocks like that too, but in other areas. My new traveling series begun tomorrow, take care jorge
