Great No_One 2016-08-15 8:30

Hey Lisa
Beautiful place, once of the nicest in the world I think, and it has a great mystery to it. I really like your take on this too, a great idea to exclude the ground level so that the towers and arches of books seem almost heavenly. Beautiful sombre grey light too.
I have to ask though, how did you manage to take this? When I was there they were very strict about cameras and the security guards were moving around live ninjas. Kind of like in the sistine chapel. Extra cool that you got this result while there may have been an Irish ninja rolling towards you

Thank you, Noel, for your kind words.

Gosh, how I would love to find this car in such a condition! To me, at least, the bodywork only appears to have light surface rust and it shouldn't be too much work to get it back to factory condition. Not only that, it appears complete - no major bits like lamps and things appear to have gone missing or looted from it - and those sorts of parts can be the most difficult of all to find and replace. And what a beautiful car, isn't it?

If you want to see what it should be like, have a look at this picture on Wikipedia - stunning, isn't it?
