It seems you are beginning a series of details of this cathedral. The sculptures are beautiful. I think the central composition works here as it makes use of the side panels to create a symmetrical image.

Hello Kath,
Thank you for you visit, always an honour and a pleasure to hear something for you. The Freiburger Münster is indeed a beautiful church and I have the intent to publish a couple of other deatils since I did not have the possibility to photograph it from the outside - the awfull weather and the crowds and, of course, the inability to successfully do the number of stitches I always admire in Said's pictures. I take this occasion to wish you, and your family, all the best for the coming year. John
