Great ellelloo 2009-04-24 3:33

Ciao Renť,
A lovely shot, nature at its best! The other shots from the same creek are beautiful in their wintry greyness, but this one sure has all the aspects of a great photo. The richness of details, various colours and contrasts is enchanting. I especially like the delicate transparency of the water in the foreground. Many people prefer a long exposure effect, which creates an illusion of milky water flow, but I like more this kind of natural looking shorter exposure variant. :-) Thanks for sharing!
Greetings,
Lasse

Default To ellelloo: Shorter exposure

Hello Lasse,
many thanks for your appreciation! I'm flattered to meet someone who thinks in a similar way as to depicting waterflow. I don't really like to see 'milk' flowing on riverbeds ;-) So I take a good deal of care as to have exposure values, if possible, under 1/10 of a second.
Regards, Renť
