Hi René,
I like so many things about this image. First off your exposure makes for a really attractive presentation. The wider aperture has captured the water beautifully and maintained depth of field since you didn't put anything too close to the lens. The colors in the wet rocks are wonderful as well. This is a very nice example of deviating from the longer shutter speed effect. The only "improvement" I might suggest would be to adjust the composition slightly so that the main cascade of water is a little less centered. I did a cropping workshop only to demonstrate what I mean. Nicely done and good use of your new DSLR mate!
Cheers!

First of all, I want you to know that with your appreciation you made my day and with your workshop you confirmed thoughts I'd had before posting this image. I have learned something very important about composition.
The core of it all is, that you gave me a very big motivation burst through your encouragement. I thank you for that, as I do appreciate your presentations very much! Regards, René |
