Fujifilm Finepix S5600

Hi.

I have just orderd a finepix s5600 camera. Just wounder what you all
think about this camera, is it anything to have or ?
And its my first digitalcamera....... so now i start to shot some pictures.

Hi Lule - welcome to TE and I look forward to seeing some photos taken with your S5600 soon. Actually my son has this camera (his first digital camera too) and he's very happy with it. I've been very impressed with the quality of the images it takes. Good value for money - I'm sure you'll have fun with it and be pleased with the results.

Having researched heavily. The S5600 is the best spec compact zoom.

I hope to buy my own soon. It aint a perfect camera but its close.

One niggle is xD cards, on amazon they are half price what they are in store. But I think the convience, lack of wait and still not quiet trusting the internet I'll buy in store.

Hi Lule,

I used to own a s5600 and can only talk warmly about it. It's a great value for the price.. Really.. Neat little camera with a great zoom range. What I liked most about the camera and what I also look back on with some nostalgia, is how good the Black and White photos turned out with his camera on sunny days.

Only niggle is its size, not huge but not compact, need to find a good case.

One note is rechargeables. I think you should research them a bit. I just grabbed some 2500 from the store with a 12hr charger. It might of not been the best deal.
