Hi Elvira
lets hope these elephants are being taken care of in a respectful manner. I'm not a fan of elephants being used for 'rides' and such, they are often treated so poorly with poking sticks and whips...just horrible. Looks like this elephant is being treated with respect :) so thats good. fun photo and fun explanation of the events you went through. cheers

Hello Craig,
thanks for writing! Like you I hope the elephants are treated with respect, but who can say? The 2 elephants are the base of their income, and I hope I contributed with the "photo fee" not only to make a living for the human owners, but also to feed the elephants. Kind regards, Elvira
