It is a nice recreation hoby to go fishing - but if one likes fishs, he should return them to the water ??
I like the enviroment in image - nicely taken .

To ikeharel: angling fishing
I guess that there are two kinds of this type of fishing (angling) in Portugal (in rivers and other inland waters): fishing in sporting event (contests, championships), and fishing for food (eating the fish). When there is a fishing sporting event, I guess that usually or always they return the fish to the water.
I guess that most anglers in Portugal go fishing for food, to eat the fish. But even so there are rules for sizes and quantities for each species. I posted another view of this lagoon and some panels with information on the biodiversity of the area:  Quinta da Lagoa /*\  Map & biodiversity panel
