Great holmertz 2014-01-21 6:56

Hello Kristin,
There are few members of TE whose pictures so regularly arouse my curiosity as yours. When looking at others' thumbnails I think "there's another house" or "another technically perfect but boring view". With your pictures I never know quite what to expect until I see them at full size, but most of them show people in interesting situations and they're often amusing. Nothing much is happening here, but there is lot of interaction - and lack of it. The little girl, hopelessly bored, seems to be looking inwards, whereas the man to the left watches her with a smile. The second man from the right is watching you.
Kind regards,

your comments just made my day!
and probably my week, in fact

thanks gert, and please know the feelings are mutual.
i love traveling the world through your photographs, which are always interesting and also show a fine eye for color, composition, and overall worthiness, something i can only say of a few people on TE.

the added bonus of your photography is that so much of it was taken years or even decades ago in parts of the world that have since been irrevocably changed (and not for the better.)

so thank you, my friend ~ coming from you these comments are especially appreciated and valued.

kind regards,
