Default To Roly: Spring

I appreciate the comment. I actually am not too fond of this picture, either, and was hoping to get a little advise, so thanks. I was worried about the sun washing out the details, and I guess I was right. I'll try your suggestion. :)
The springs here in southern Arizona are really short, and it depends on what you consider 'spring' to be, anyway. In all honesty, winter lasts only about a month, from mid-december to mid-january, and then summer starts up about mid-april, so I guess you could consider the time between to be spring, although it doesn't really feel like that. Most desert plants don't bloom at the same time, anyway.
Closer to a traditional spring, we have monsoons here which are just times at the end of summer where it gets so hot that the little bit of moisture we have in the air evaporates from the ground, then cools down when it gets high enough in the atmosphere. Then, in the evening, sometimes, enough has built up that it will rain a little bit. It's the most amount of rain we get a year, usually, and I don't think anything else like it happenes anywhere else in North America.
