Great rigoletto 2014-01-14 7:01

hi kris. you are indeed a story teller. i mean, looking at your photos and how you present the culture surrounding you, i will almost believe that asheville and neighbouring black mountains are home to thousands of years of history with strong oral tradition, myth and customs. the moment you captured here is priceless to impose that feeling, and it seems, the stroy telling tradition is so old that they don't use oral methods any more, but prefer telepathy to deliver those ancient tales from a grand to her minor. a trance over there?

Default To rigoletto: a storytelling culture

lol, it is actually a thousands year old culture here. these are some of the oldest mountains in the world, our river is the third oldest (behind the nile and something else), so i guess by now we really don't need language, so we?

there is actually a lot of meditation and trance going on in these hills, so perhaps that's what granny was teaching the little one -- start them early!
