Both technically and aesthetically, this photograph succeeds big time. I'd love to know what lighting there was: some form of back-lighting from those defocussed highlights? Your viewpoint is inspired too.

I was a bit confused when I read your comment here, Will. Then I noticed that another member here had made a WS to illustrate some critiques on this shot. Personally I wouldn't go that far in PP, though.
